x marks the wash: introducing the new simplehuman® x-frame and double x-frame laundry hampers

LOS ANGELES—For some of us, the thought of doing the laundry is more tiring than a trip to the gym, especially if your hamper is a flimsy piece of plastic that buckles and bends when you carry it. While your workout regime should have plenty of bending and flexing, your laundry baskets should not. Instead of having to wrestle with a whole hamper that’s heavy and full of dirty clothes, the x-frame hampers have removable laundry bags so you can just lift the bag out and carry it to the washing machine. The cotton and mesh bags are breathable and machine washable and have convenient, steel handles that are easy to grab and go. There is also a double x-frame laundry hamper with two bags for easy sorting and a double capacity.

The frame of the hamper is constructed of heavy gauge chrome-plated steel bars and has a proportionately wide base so that the hamper won’t tip over even when full. The strong pivot point makes it easy to open and collapse the hamper in one smooth motion, so you can conveniently store it away out-of-sight when not in use.
