Simply place your hand underneath the spout and it automatically dispenses the soap. The entire process is touch-free, preventing cross-contamination from dirty or wet hands during daily use in the kitchen or bathroom.
simplehuman’s sensor soap pump provides sophisticated sensor technology combined with the versatility of multiple settings. To use, simply place your hand under the spout, and the pump automatically dispenses a preset amount of soap. Choose from a larger or smaller amount of soap by turning the dial at the base of the pump and selecting from four preset volumes. This feature also allows you to adjust the rate of flow for thicker soaps or lotions.

The NHS recommends that healthcare professionals wash their hands for 15-30 seconds. With this in mind, the sensor soap pump has an optional built-in timer. After soap is dispensed, a light flashes for 20 seconds to encourage the user to lather for the full amount of time. This feature can be turned on or off by the user.
Another innovative feature is the continuous dispensing button, which makes it easy to dispense larger amounts of soap for larger chores, or dispense soap directly on pots and pans for dishwashing. Continuous dispensing provides more flexibility than a traditional soap pump, because it allows soap to be dispensed consistently onto dishes or kitchen surfaces.
The sensor soap pump has a clear soap chamber so it’s easy to see the amount of soap left in the pump and a twist-off lid for easy refills. The body of the pump is made from brushed nickel with a chrome-plated top for a rustproof finish. A stainless steel backsplash provides added durability.
